As former Chief Executive Officer for Intersect Beverage, Jim Riley led all distillery operations, distribution partnerships, public relations, sponsorships and marketing programs. Jim provides executive leadership and strategic counsel to clients and partners in various capacities, complemented by over 20 years of branding, communications, crisis management, public relations, marketing and investor relations both in the private and public sector. Prior to Intersect Beverage, Jim spent nearly eight years at Ketel One Vodka as Vice President of Public Relations and Events. There he had oversight of various communications programs and worked with the individual divisions’ public relations staff. He was also a liaison to supporting agencies and sales divisions and interfaced with regional managers and directors. Working closely with internal operating units, Jim developed a communications agenda that supported the business strategies of the company’s sales and marketing divisions. He partnered with the industry’s trade associations while serving as company spokesperson for shows and events. Jim has instituted model philanthropy programs and continues to inspire others with his charitable efforts.
Successful brands focus on connecting with their customers and at Baja United, it is our goal to treat each one of our supporters as if they were family. Our Community Director, Evelyn Colon, is active in daily outreach through customer-enriched experiences, social content creation, media support and activation. Evelyn is bilingual in both English and Spanish and travels frequently to the Valle de Guadalupe to visit our winery partners and frequent her favorite restaurants in the region.
Nicole’s passion for marketing began back when she snagged her first “real” job working for Red Bull in Orange County, CA. Whether she was educating consumers out in the field on product details and company history, or organizing events to help build brand awareness, she was hooked on Marketing from the start. The biggest reason? Nicole loves connecting consumers to a product or brand in a way that positively impacts their life for the better. She has since worked for bigger brand names like Oakley, and a smaller software company in Irvine where she dove deeper into her Marketing skills of internal and external branding, content development, web design, mobile app creation, events, and social media. Nicole has brought over five years of marketing experience to Baja United Group where she is driven by the company mission and evolution she has watched the brand experience. In her spare time, Nicole loves boxing and staying active, exploring new restaurants, spending time with family and friends, and discovering new music that elevates life’s greatest moments. She is excited to continue adding value and contribute her skills to the growth, success, and philanthropic impact of Baja United.
