Las Nubes winery is located in the heart of the Valle de Guadalupe and has a unique story unto themselves. Several of their reserve wines are named after cloud formations, like Cumulus and Nimbus, while their younger wines honor the Kiliwa, a Native Indian group with only eight remaining families that speak the language today. Las Nubes promotes sustainable production through the use of rainwater that is naturally filtered into their onsite pond. All water used in production and at the bodega is reclaimed, treated and fed into the vineyard’s watering system. The leadership team at Las Nubes are firm believers in creating great wine. Their younger wines are fresh, drinkable and friendly while their reserve wines are best served at events and during pairings.
